MUSE
MUSE Arts Afternoon Conservatory
The MUSE Arts Conservatory program designed for students in grades 1 - 12 who are serious about studying Performing Arts and are willing to make a full-time commitment. Students within the program have an individualized schedule which include ballet, tap, jazz, acro, contemporary, hip hop and musical theater. Conservatory students have the opportunity to participate in Muse’s National Championship winning Dance team.
Conservatory enrollment requires an audition as well as a family interview. Students do not have to have previous experience but beginners are required to take Summer training if they are accepted. The ideal candidate is one who has a passion for Dance and/ or Theater and parents who are willing to learn how to support the process necessary for that child to attain their goals. Students attending the MUSE Conservatory receive, not only the training they need to succeed in the arts, but life skills and a work ethic that will insure success in all areas of life.
Students in the conservatory attend daily from immediately after their day school programming ends until 6:30 or 7:30pm depending on their age and course enrollment as well as Saturdays. The cost for this program is $575/month plus a registration fee each season of $150. The application process begins in April and continues throughout the summer until all all spots are filled. While Muse does not provide transportation from school, a parent carpool is organized to facilitate the process and usually requires each family to be responsible for just one day a week of pick up ( based on school and enrollment). All audition request must be received by email and should include child’s name, age, school and relevant experience if any.
Scholarships are available for all age groups. Scholarship applications may be requested via email.
MUSE also offers Spring, Winter and Summer Arts programming while school is on break.
